Gold Coins And Sweeps Coins

Two currencies share every lobby, and only one of them can become a prize. This is the difference the banners blur.

Gold Coins

Play money. Handed out by the million because it costs nothing to issue, impossible to redeem, and genuinely useful for learning a lobby without spending. A huge Gold Coin headline tells you nothing about the value of an offer.

Sweeps Coins

The promotional currency with a redemption route. Play each coin through once and the balance can, at the site floor, be exchanged for a cash prize or gift card. Every star on this site is a Sweeps Coin judgement.

Why no purchase is required

US sweepstakes rules require a free route to entry. In practice that is a daily bonus, an on-site giveaway, a social drop or a postal request. Buying a coin package purchases play money; the Sweeps Coins bundled with it are a promotional extra rather than the product.

Playthrough and the floor

Playthrough means each Sweeps Coin must be wagered once before it counts. The floor is the minimum redeemable balance the site will process, usually 50 to 100 SC. Two coins in front of a 75 coin floor is not a payout waiting to happen.

  • Gold Coins: unlimited, free, worthless at the cashier
  • Sweeps Coins: one playthrough, redeemable at the floor
  • Floors on our board: 50 SC to 100 SC
  • Every site here has a free entry route
Shortcut. Divide the Sweeps Coin figure by the floor and ignore everything with GC after it. That ratio predicts your experience better than any other number in the offer.
